Schneider Logistics sale completed

Schneider Logistics sale completed    French logistics company Norbert Dentressangle said it has completed its purchase of Schneider Logistics' freight forwarding and customs house brokerage services in the United States and China.
   Norbert Dentressangle said the purchase provides it with “immediate high-level infrastructure in North America and Asia, offering its domestic and international clients broader logistical services.”
   The U.S. operations will be rebranded as NDO America Inc. The purchase includes seven U.S. operation centers (Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, San Diego and San Francisco) and two in China (Tianjin and Shanghai).
   Diane Hofman will serve as general manager of NDO America Inc. She has been director of international operations for Schneider Logistics for two years, after more than 17 years with BDP International.
   Headquartered in Saint-Vallier, Norbert Dentressangle is an international provider of transport and logistics services with more than $3.5 billion in revenue in 2009 and operates in 19 countries in Europe, North America and Asia.
