FMC reviews 11 OTI applications, revokes 22 licenses    The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 11 ocean transportation intermediary license applications for review.
   The agency received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Omega Shipping (PL), Miami (Yigal Aviani, president); MSN Logistics, Edison, N.J. (Mubashar M. Butt, president); and Sino-USA Logistics, Lynwood, Calif. (Andrew P. Wang, chief executive officer).
   The FMC received NVO-ocean freight forwarder license applications from Ioplus Logistics, Doral, Fla. (Carlos Perez, general manager); New Horizon Shipping, Laguna Niguel, Calif. (Gihan Zahran, CEO); Good News Logistics, Roswell, Ga. (Kuen Kwang Lee, president); Windward Enterprises, Los Angeles (Roger Thomas Bernard Sanderson, president); and GTS USA, Elizabeth, N.J. (Jean-Francois Gueguen, president).
   The agency also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Overseas Cargo, Elizabeth, N.J. (Catherine Tello, president); Gate Way Cargo Systems, Inglewood, Calif. (Christa Kupferschmidt, president); and Keene Machinery and Export, Corinth, Texas (Karon Jones, sole proprietor).
   Persons knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington at (202) 523-5843.
   The FMC revoked 22 OTI licenses for failure to maintain valid bonds. The impacted companies include AA Pacific, Fort Lee, N.J.; ASAV Uluslararasi Nakliyat Ve Ticaret Ltd. Sirketi, Istanbul, Turkey; Billings Freight Systems, Atlanta; Bluefreight Worldwide Logistics, Pomona, Calif.; Convenant International Corp., Miami; Dietrich-Exccel, Miami; Elite Shipping, Miami; GSG Investment, Redondo Beach, Calif.; Global Cargo Corp., Miami; International Import Export Service, Jamaica, N.Y.; Jet Dispatch (H.K.) Ltd., Hong Kong; Krennerich International, Houston; Onebin.Com, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Pantrac Transport Corp., Brooklyn, N.Y.; Sea, Air & Truck Forwarding, Houston; Sparrow Freight America, Carson, Calif.; South American Lines, Miami; Starlift Logistics, Irvington, N.J.; Transcom Express, Red Bank, N.J.; Trident Universal, Lutz, Fla.; Val-Mar International, Cooper City, Fla.; and Valu Freight Consolidators, Miami.
