CEVA expands contracts in Australia, Spain CEVA Logistics said Wednesday it has renewed and extended a contract to provide warehouse, transport and distribution services to South Pacific Tyres across Australia.
   “South Pacific Tyres has a strong retail and wholesale presence in Australia through their ownership and operation of the high profile Beaurepaires, Goodyear Autocare and Dunlop Super Dealer retail channels and stewardship of the household Goodyear and Dunlop passenger and commercial tire brands,” CEVA said in a statement.
   The logistics company began serving South Pacific Tyres in 2006 with an agreement to provide warehouse and distribution services of tires and other products from sites across Australia, including Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia. It will now extend to 2013.
   In other news, CEVA said it has won a contract to provide warehousing, cross-dock, spare parts and reverse logistics for Ricoh in Spain. CEVA is already the 3PL company for Ricoh’s finished goods in Spain, but will now handle its Spanish service parts satellite warehouse as well. The warehouse will handle service parts from Spain and Portugal on behalf of field service engineers and Ricoh dealers in Spain.
