The companies, Deutsche Post Transport GmbH, based in Bonn, and Danzas NTO GmbH, based in Hanover, will now operate as Danzas Transport.
Danzas, the forwarding and logistics arm of the Deutsche Post group, said that the goal of the new organization is to deliver an even broader range of high-volume transport services to customers from a single source.
The combined operation will have annual sales of around DM680 million ($360 million) and some 570 employees. Danzas said that Danzas Transport will be number one in its segment of the German market.
