AA Cargo restarts Dublin-Chicago flight

  American Airlines Cargo is restarting its daily non-stop service from Dublin, Ireland to Chicago from April 4.
  The flight will be operated on one of the carrier’s Boeing 767-300 wide-bodied passenger planes and will depart the Irish capital at 10 a.m. (local time) every day, arriving in Chicago at 12:20 p.m. “The morning departure is ideal for important cargo shipments and will arrive in the U.S. hub where it can meet onward connecting services across North, Central and South America,” the airline said.
  On June 14, the carrier will also resume daily services between Chicago and Helsinki. Operating non-stop and using a B767-300 aircraft, the service from Vantaa airport will offer truck-feeder services to Amsterdam, Stockholm Arlanda, Gothenburg, Malmo and London Heathrow five days a week and with inbound feeder service from Arlanda, Gothenburg and Malmo.
  “Both these destinations are welcome additions to our summer timetable,” said Tristan Koch, AA Cargo’s managing director for cargo sales and marketing in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. “They have previously been well-supported cargo destinations out of Europe as they are ideal for moving both pharmaceutical and electronics products, both of which are major commodities from these countries into the U.S. and beyond via our network.”
  In Ireland, AA Cargo is represented by IAM under Managing Director Ian McCool. In Helsinki, North Air Logistics acts as general sales agent for the country under General Manager Nette Rohde-Nielsen.
