SeaBridge adds four members to board

SeaBridge adds four members to board SeaBridge Inc., a company that is proposing to build a fleet of high-speed ferries to move cargo, passenger cars and drivers on short-sea routes along the U.S. coast, said it has added four new members to its board of advisors.
   The new directors are:
   * Michael G. Thorne, former director and chief executive officer of the Washington State Ferry System, which SeaBridge said operates the largest fleet of passenger and vehicle ferries in the United States, and the world's second-largest ferry fleet. Earlier, Thorne served as executive director of the Port of Portland, Ore.
   * John G. Peterlin III, senior director of marketing and administration for the Port of Galveston, Texas, and founder and president of Gulf Bridge Ro-Ro, an operator of roll-on/roll-off marine transportation services for U.S. Gulf freight.
   * David E. Ware, an intermodal transportation executive, who served as assistant vice president of the quality service center for CSX Intermodal, and also developed and managed a 400-power-unit intermodal trucking operation for CSX.
   * Henry 'Hank' Hoffman, chairman of wireless technology company, SiriCOMM, and former president and chief operating officer of Tri-State Motor Transit, the nation’s largest transporter of munitions for the U.S. government.
Mark Cleveland, SeaBridge' CEO, said the company also plans to “initiate operational services” later this year. Stephen Flott, chairman of the company, said additional information about those plans would be available later in the spring.
