Air Seychelles outsources to Jettainer    Jettainer said it signed a five-year contract with Air Seychelles to manage unit load devices for the airline beginning Jan. 1.
   Air Seychelles is Jettainer's 12th customer and gives the Germany company entry to the African market.
   Jettainer, partly owned by Lufthansa Cargo, manages more than 80,000 ULDs for various passenger airlines. It pools the ULDs from its various customers to more efficiently distribute the containers where they are needed.
   Air Seychelles uses a unique concept for its LD2 containers, which have their doors at either the left or right hand side so the airline can pair containers the way they will be loaded into the aircraft, Jettainer said.
   The airline operates five Boeing 767 aircraft on its international network and plans to add a Boeing 787 Dreamliner in the future.
