Jacksonville ‘state of the port? event Feb. 22

Jacksonville ôstate of the portö event Feb. 22 Port of Jacksonville executive director Rick Ferrin will give his annual 'state of the port' address Feb. 22 before the Jacksonville Propeller Club.
   Ferrin's report will be part of an informational session that will include a panel with the senor directors from the Jacksonville Port Authority. Ferrin will be joined by Ron Baker, deputy executive director and chief financial officer; Chris Kaufmann, senior director of terminal operations and port security; Tony Orsini, senior director of cruise operations and business development; David Kaufman, senior director of planning and properties; Eric Green, senior director of government and external affairs; and Roy Schleicher, senior director of marketing and trade development. Victoria Robas, director of the Blount Island and Dames Point terminals, will moderate the event.
   The event begins at 11:30 a.m. at the Jaxport Cruise Terminal, 9810 August Drive. It is open to the public, but advanced registration is required. The cost is $25, lunch included.
