Transplace to manage transportation for Sunny Delight    Transplace, a non-asset-based third party logistics provider, said it will arrange outbound transportation in North America for Sunny Delight Beverages Co.
      Plano, Texas-based Transplace will contract and manage a core group of refrigerated motor carriers to deliver the company’s juice-based drinks to retailers.
   J.W. Childs Associates, a Boston-based private equity firm, recently acquired the $550-million Sunny Delight brand from Procter & Gamble. Sunny Delight is based in Cincinnati.
   Transplace said it is working to transition Sunny Delight’s supply chain operations from Procter & Gamble into its network and have full control of the operation by early next year.
