ANA Group’s net income flat in 2005    Tokyo-based ANA Group, parent company of All Nippon Airways Co. Ltd., today reported a 0.9 percent drop to its net income to 26.7 billion yen ($234 million), for its fiscal year 2005 ended March 31. ANA’s net income in the fiscal year 2004 was 27 billion yen ($236 million).
   The ANA Group includes airlines All Nippon Airways, Air Nippon, Air Japan, Air Nippon Network, Air Hokkaido and Air Central.
   Operating profit for the year increased 14.2 percent to 88.8 billion yen ($778 million) from 77.7 billion yen. Consolidated revenue was 1.37 trillion yen ($12 billion), up 5.9 percent from 1.29 trillion yen.
   International cargo revenues jumped 10.6 percent to 55.3 billion yen ($484 million) after carrying 248,000 tons of cargo, up 6.1 percent over the 2004 fiscal year. Domestic cargo revenues increased 4.3 percent to 29.6 billion yen ($259 million) with volumes up 0.5 percent to 440,000 tons.
   For the 2006 fiscal year, ANA forecast a consolidated net profit of 27 billion yen ($237 million) with revenue of 1.42 trillion ($12.4 billion).
