Former P&G exec named Indiana port director

   The Ports of Indiana has named former Procter & Gamble executive Scott Stewart as port director for the Port of Indiana-Jeffersonville.
   Stewart retired from P&G in 2008 after 24 years. He most recently served as a senior policy director for Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels and most recently as director of strategy for the Indiana Department of Transportation on the Ohio River Bridges project.
   Rich Cooper, chief executive officer for the port, said Stewart’s background and experience “will allow him to connect immediately with port customers and business prospects in our industry. He clearly understands the win-win outcomes of public-private partnerships which define our strategy for growing business and Indiana’s economy.”
