Protesters board ship in U.K.    Environmental protesters from the group Greenpeace boarded a ship delivering coal to a power plant in England Sunday night as part of a campaign to fight global warming.
   The members of the group swam from inflatable boats and boarded the ship as it sailed up the Medway River to deliver coal to the Kingsnorth power station in Kent.
   The ship managed to dock at Kingsnorth with some protesters still on board.
   Greenpeace said the protest was made because it wants “to see strong government leadership on energy policy in the run up to the Copenhagen climate summit in December. All of this is why we intervene to stop dirty coal power from becoming the future of Britain’s energy.”
   The BBC quoted police constable Gary Beautridge as saying the protest had created a “difficult and potentially dangerous situation,” but that it had been contained and police were on board the ship. He added: “This is a working coal-carrying vessel and clearly a dangerous environment for anyone who hasn’t been trained to work in it.”
