Kingfisher wants more A380s Ambitious Indian carrier Kingfisher Airlines is rumored to be supersizing its order for A380s.
   According to a report in Cargonews Asia, Kingfisher wants to add to its previous order of five A380 superjumbos. The domestic carrier will start international long-haul services between India and the United States next year and has more than 100 planes on order over the next decade.
   Headed by swashbuckling chairman Vijay Mallya, whose empire includes the United Breweries Group and its flagship product Kingfisher Beer, the airline also has designs on invigorating the Indian air cargo market. It operates no freighters, but is quickly ramping up sales efforts after starting cargo operations in the summer.
