INTTRA adds integration to schedules

   INTTRA, one of the world’s largest networks for ocean shipping, has announced a series of enhancements to its OceanSchedules product, including integration with existing applications and more data formats.
   OceanSchedules, a comprehensive multi-carrier scheduling service, now gives customers access to more than 7 million global vessel schedules from 31 carriers and provides support for customers that want to load additional data directly into their systems.
   Included in this release is a new delivery format that supports the requirements of SAP’s Transportation Management Solution. Existing SAP customers can immediately start using the new delivery options by contacting INTTRA. Previously, the system supported XML and EDI formats for shippers and their partners.
   OceanSchedules now provides easier integration for both shippers and software providers, which will lead to more direct access through the Web and eliminates the need to load schedules into a local database, INTTRA said.
   The company added CargoSphere and DHL Global Forwarding have successfully integrated OceanSchedules into their products.
