Former Middle East District Manager Joseph Brincat has been promoted to vice president for the entire Middle East region, including Egypt, Libya and Pakistan. Brincat replaces Stephen Auger who has been transferred to Busan as vice president for the North Pacific region, which includes Korea, Japan and the Philippines.
Meanwhile, the ABS Middle East regional administrative office will relocate from Doha, Qatar to Dubai. The society's activities in Qatar will be handled by Martin Hruska, who will be promoted to country manager in Doha from Sept. 1. Hruska was in Singapore, where he was director of offshore technology and business development for ABS's Pacific division.
