Peruvian forwarder to use CargoWise cloud platform

   The Peruvian freight forwarder International Freight Shipping S.A.C. has adopted the cloud-based platform from logistics technology provider CargoWise.
   IFS in Peru, part of the IFS Group, will use CargoWise’s ediEnterprise. IFS has 5,000 international partners globally, and more than 1,000 active local customers.
   “After careful analysis of all available global freight forwarding systems we opted for ediEnterprise, through WiseCloud, because it provided all our staff the opportunity to share information across different departments within the company and work in the same way in all our offices no matter where they are based,” said IFS Executive President Reynir Gislason in a statement. “CargoWise already has a very large network of logistics companies around the world using ediEnterprise; thus it adds tremendous value to our business because it enables us to interact with these clients all over the world with the same IT platform.”
