Kalmar acquires two Peinemann companies

Kalmar acquires two Peinemann companies    Swedish Kalmar Industries, provider of heavy-duty materials handling equipment to ports, has acquired the Dutch companies Peinemann Kalmar CV and Peinemann Kalmar Rental BV from parent organization the Peinemann Group for an undisclosed sum.
   Peinemann Kalmar CV and Peinemann Kalmar Rental BV will be renamed Kalmar Nederland and Kalmar Rental respectively and will continue to operate from the same location at Hoogvliet in the port of Rotterdam. Kalmar Nederland will focus on the sales and servicing of counterbalanced equipment and terminal tractors while Kalmar Rental BV will continue to develop rental and fleet management activities, Kalmar said.
   Kalmar is a subsidiary of Kone Cargotec.
