CANADA MARITIME EXPANDS EASTERN EUROPEAN AGENCY NETWORK

CANADA MARITIME EXPANDS EASTERN EUROPEAN AGENCY NETWORK    Canada Maritime, a Europe/Montreal gateway shipping line, has expanded its agency network in eastern Europe.
   The carrier has appointed Aseco Container Services to represent it in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
   Canada Maritime said that it aims to capitalize on an anticipated increase in trade between North America and eastern Europe over the next few years. Shipments to and from east European markets are transshipped over
Hamburg or Antwerp,
   Aseco is also currently the agent for Canada Maritime in Scandinavia.
   Before the recent expansion, Canada Maritime’s eastern European agency network included Sea Express in Russia and Lema Forwarding in the Ukraine
