The 50,800-deadweight-ton vessel will be phased into the German carrier’s service between Asia, South Africa and the East Coast of South America two weeks after the christening ceremony.
The dimensions of all the vessels in the series are 254 meters (833 feet) long and 32.2 meters (106 feet) wide, with a maximum draft of 12.4 meters (40.7 feet). Each ship has 610 reefer container plugs and a speed of 21.5 knots.
