Trans Global Logistics opens Hangzhou, China office

Trans Global Logistics opens Hangzhou, China office    Hong Kong-based Trans Global Logistics has opened an office in Hangzhou, capital of the Zhejiang province in Southeast China.
   The new office is the company’s 46th office in 22 countries worldwide and its 13th in China.
   The Hangzhou area is home to a broad base of manufacturers, including producers of garments, textiles, silk, electronics, machinery and auto parts. The new office will serve the air and ocean transportation needs of exporters and importers, Trans Global said.
   “Expanding our network in Asia allows us to provide enhanced services to global shippers and positions us in the future as China develops its land, sea and air infrastructure,” said Donald Woo, Trans Global’s chief executive officer.
   “The Hangzhou office will provide direct service for customers and it will work in concert with our Shanghai operation, which is just three hours travel time via truck,” Woo said. “Having a presence in the Hangzhou market will allow us to provide high levels of customer service. In addition, the station gives us additional capacity during the peak season and it will enhance service to many intra-Asia markets.”
