CMHI, Eurogate cooperate on marketing

CMHI, Eurogate cooperate on marketing    Terminal operators China Merchants Holdings (International) Co. Ltd. (CMHI) and Eurogate GmbH & Co. on Monday entered into a memorandum of understanding to cooperate on strategic marketing.
   The MOU traces its roots to June 17, 2008, when the CMHI subsidiary Shekou Container Terminal (SCT) entered into a similar agreement with one of Eurogate's subsidiaries, Eurogate Container Terminal Bremerhaven.
   The companies said this new cooperation will not be limited to collaboration on marketing events and activities, but will also serve as a platform for both companies to exchange ideas and insights on key trends in the market, including environmental, port security, operational technologies and operational practices.
   The closer relationship between the two terminal operators will also help both terminal operators identify potential clients in each other's markets.
