Tulsa Port of Catoosa reports February volumes

The inland river port in Oaklahoma shipped 256,488 tons of waterborne cargo in February, down slightly from one month prior.    The Tulsa Port of Catoosa reported a total barge tonnage of 256,488 tons for February, down slightly from the 258,243 tons reported for January.
   The port is located at the head of the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System in northeast Oklahoma and ranks as one of the largest inland river-ports in the U.S.
   Total shipping for the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System reached 1.2 million tons in February, with the Oklahoma section shipping 703,002 tons.
   The port sits on a 2,000-acre industrial park, hosting over 70 companies and employing over 3,000 regional workers.
