Virgin Atlantic to expand network to Dubai

Virgin Atlantic to expand network to Dubai    Virgin Atlantic Airways said Thursday it will expand its network by starting nonstop London/Dubai flights from March next year.
   The new London/Dubai flights will be operated by Airbus A340 aircraft, and will initially fly four days a week, increasing to five days a week from May 1, and daily from June 1.
   Flights to Dubai will depart from Heathrow at 8.10 p.m., arriving into Dubai International Airport at 6.20 a.m. the following morning. Return flights depart Dubai at 3.00 p.m., arriving into Heathrow at 7.30 p.m. the same day.
   Virgin is also about to start twice weekly flights from London to Montego Bay, Jamaica, later this month. Together with the new London/Dubai route, the airline’s total number of destinations will increase to 28.
