Eaton awards Asia Pacific logistics lead contract to CEVA

Eaton awards Asia Pacific logistics lead contract to CEVA Ohio-based Eaton Corp., a major diversified industrial manufacturer, has named Netherlands-based CEVA Logistics to act as its lead logistics provider in its Asia Pacific region, including all warehousing and domestic road networks in the countries covered.
   In addition, all of Eaton’s pan-Asia Pacific distribution will be managed by CEVA, formerly TNT Logistics, from Singapore.
   “The Asia Pacific selection of a lead logistics provider is the next step in our global program to nominate lead logistics providers to manage our logistics globally,” said Mario Hegewald, Eaton's global logistics director.
   Howard Critchley, CEVA’s managing director for China, Australia and Southeast Asia, said: “The Eaton contract represents an important step in our ambitious growth plans in the Asia Pacific region, and demonstrates our capability to offer complete supply chain solutions to our customers.”
