Spyrou heads Shipco’s China air freight

Spyrou heads ShipcoÆs China air freight    Non-vessel-operating common carrier Shipco Transport has appointed Christos Spyrou to director of air freight development for China.
   Spyrou comes to Shipco after heading his own neutral air freight wholesale company, NAC ASIA, in China. NAC ASIA, like Shipco, is a founding member of the Air Cargo Group. NAC ASIA's activities will be transferred to Shipco in Shanghai and NAC ASIA will cease operating, effective Jan. 1.
      'By combining Christos' local knowledge and the products within Shipco's industry leading platform, we foresee a significant growth in the China airfreight market. This will be a huge step for the development of our neutral airfreight wholesale services in China,' said Kim Ekstroem, Shipco's senior vice president, in a statement.
   Shipco is a subsidiary of Scan-Group, an international shipping and transportation company based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
