Savi Technology signs diverse regional pacts for RFID marketing Savi Technology Inc. has signed a series of partnership agreements with companies in Australia, India, Israel and Saudi Arabia to support Savi's marketing of radio frequency identification (RFID) components for outside of the United States.
   The companies are AVAANA Software and Services Pvt. Ltd., based in New Delhi, India; ETCOM RFID Ltd., in Kfar Saba, Israel; Simtix, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates but active in the Emirates, Jordan and Saudi Arabia; and Communication Design & Management Pty Ltd. (CDM), in Sydney, Australia.
   'We're eager to leverage the local connections, expertise and experience of leading firms in these diverse markets to help drive Savi's RFID-based technology for both the commercial and government sectors in locations our partners know best,' said Chris Stephenson, Savi's senior vice president, marketing and alliances.
