World operates B747 freighter for Jade    World Airways, a subsidiary of Global Aviation Holdings Inc., has signed a one-year agreement with Jade Cargo International to operate a Boeing 747-400 freighter, starting in October.
   Subject to final government approvals, the plane will connect Shanghai and Yantai with Chicago. The three weekly flights will then continue to Amsterdam and return to Shanghai on a “round-the-world” flight pattern.
   World also recently announced a significant increase in cargo fleet capacity with the addition of two B747-400 freighters, which will bring World’s B747-400 fleet to four aircraft, in addition to nine MD-11 freighters.
   Jade was founded in October 2004 as a joint venture between Shenzhen Airlines (51 percent), Lufthansa Cargo AG (25 percent) and the German development finance institute DEG-Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH (24 percent).
