ARINC releases new forwarder enterprise solution

   The Annapolis, Md.-based integration solutions provider ARINC Inc. this week introducted of e-Forwarder, a new solution that provides cargo operations management for small to midsized freight forwarders.
   The product is a client-server based platform that provides forwarders with a single, integrated solution for cargo management from initial cargo acceptance and waybill generation to final delivery to consignee. The solution allows users to efficiently manage both air and maritime outbound/inbound cargo operations.
   “ARINC’s e-Forwarder enables us to improve internal efficiencies with easy-to-use tools to manage bookings, shipping instructions, bills of lading, revenue accounting, and more—in a highly efficient manner,” said Alexander Schad, logistics vice president for Frederic Schad SAS, a logistics provider based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, in a statement. – Eric Johnson
