H?egh Autoliners orders four pure car truck carriers

H÷egh Autoliners orders four pure car truck carriers    Norwegian roll-on/roll-off operator H'egh Autoliners has signed a contract with Japanese shipbuilder Tsuneishi Corp. for four pure car truck carriers. Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
   The four vessels will have a deck area of 47,000 square meters with a capacity to carry about 5,200 car equivalent units, and will they will all be delivered in 2007.
   H'egh Autoliners announced the contract with Tsuneishi Corp. at a naming ceremony for its latest roll-on/roll-off car carrier, “H'egh New York”, in New York June 9. The vessel “H'egh New York” is the fourth vessel in the series of nine newbuildings ordered from Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering in South Korea.
