STB DISMISSES TRAILER BRIDGE COMPLAINT AGAINST SEA STAR    The U.S. Surface Transportation Board approved a motion filed by Trailer Bridge to dismiss with prejudice the carrier’s 1999 complaint against Sea Star Lines.
   The complaint alleged that Sea Star provided transportation service between the United States and Puerto Rico at “non-compensatory rates” in an effort to “disrupt the trade,” causing financial harm to Trailer Bridge. Sea Star has denied any wrongdoing.
   Trailer Bridge’s motion was filed to the STB on April 5. The motion stated that the carriers have agreed to settle all claims and issues between them in the case.
   “The resolution of this matter is consistent with the Board’s policy of encouraging private-sector dispute resolution whenever possible,” the STB said.
