Stephenson is senior legal counsel at Weyerhaeuser and has been with the company since 2001. He succeeds Craig A. Lawrence, who is retiring from Westwood on April 20 after 17 years at the Wash.-based shipping line.
Westwood operates more than 50 roundtrip voyages each year using multipurpose vessels connecting ports in Japan and Korea in the Far East to ports in British Columbia and the Washington state ports of Longview, Everett and Seattle.
