AIMU, IMUA sponsor cargo-conveying conference for insurers

AIMU, IMUA sponsor cargo-conveying conference for insurers    The American Institute of Marine Underwriters and the Inland Marine Underwriters Association will present a Web conference Dec. 14 on cargo-carrying conveyances.
   The conference begins at 11:30 a.m. EST. Barry Tarnef, chairman of IMUA's loss control and claims committee, will discuss conveyance description, characteristics, values, exposures and loss prevention considerations for about 45 minutes. Tarnef is also a member of AIMU's technical services committee.
