Horizon Lines closes secondary offering

Horizon Lines closes secondary offering Horizon Lines said Friday it had closed a secondary offering of 5,750,000 shares of its common stock, with all shares sold to the public at $14.00 per share.
   The offering was originally reported in American Shipper Florida Connection June 13.
   Horizon Lines also said it sold a further 862,500 shares to the underwriters of the offering, who exercise in full the option to purchase additional shares. The shares were offered through an underwriting syndicate lead by Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. and Goldman, Sachs & Co. The company did not offer any primary shares in the offering.
   Horizon Lines is a Jones Act carrier offering shipping services between Jacksonville and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
