Yang Ming to purchase slots on China-Southeast Asia service

Taiwan-based ocean carrier Yang Ming will begin purchasing slots on COSCO Shipping’s PA1 service between China, Singapore and Malaysia starting June 6.    Taiwan-based ocean carrier Yang Ming Marine Transport will purchase slots on the China-Southeast Asia PA1 service operated by COSCO Shipping starting June 6, according to a statement from the company.
   According to ocean carrier schedule and capacity database BlueWater Reporting, the PA1 service operates on a weekly frequency with nine vessels with an average capacity of 4,253 TEUs. The loop has a port rotation of Dalian, Yingkou, Xingang, Qngdao, Ningbo, Xiamen, Nansha, Singapore, Port Kelang, Penang, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Dalian, Xingang, Qingdao, and back to Dalian.
   Yang Ming also purchases slots on the weekly PA3 service between China, Korea and Southeast Asia.
   The PA3 operates with four vessels – two from CMA CGM subsidiary CNC Lines and one each from KMTC and TS Lines – with a port rotation of Qingdao, Busan, Gwangyang, Shanghai, Shekou, Port Kelang, Penang, Pasir Gudang Johor, Hong Kong, and back to Qingdao.
