Kewill vet joins cloud TMS BestTransport

   The cloud-based transportation management solutions provider BestTransport has appointed former Kewill executive Mike Dolan as president and chief executive officer.
   Dolan served as chief operating officer at Kewill, where he realigned and brought the Americas operation to consistent profitability and delivered significant growth in the enterprise shipping market. Prior to that, he was senior vice president of worldwide operations at MAPICS, CEO of ThruPut Technologies, and vice president of professional services at Pivotpoint.
   BestTransport said Dolan will be responsible for the growth, positioning, and ultimate success of the company.
   “Mike brings considerable experience in profitably growing a business and a team,” stated Jeff Doose, BestTransport chairman. “He knows the transportation management space and the supply chain industry in general wonderfully well.”
   BestTransport customers include Alcoa, Allegheny Technologies, Worthington Industries, Solo Cup and Glatfelter Paper. – Eric Johnson
