Dachser continues expansion in U.S.    Dachser Air & Sea Freight, an affiliate of the large German forwarder Dachser, has continued its program of expansion in the United States with the opening of an office in Chicago. The Midwest office is the third new U.S. branch office opened by Dachser this year, after those set up in Houston and San Diego.
   Dachser said that it wants to be “systematically expanding” its presence in the U.S., and combine the activities of its organizations in Europe, Asia and America.
   The forwarder provides air and sea freight (import and export), customs clearance, warehousing and distribution services. With 770 employees worldwide, Dachser Air & Sea Freight handles about 250,000 air freight shipments and 55,000 TEUs of sea freight a year.
