Saudia Cargo ups cargo capacity to LA, Manchester

   Saudia Cargo will begin offering more belly cargo space on new passenger flights between Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and Manchester and Los Angeles on April 1.
   The thrice-weekly services will make use of a B777-200 to Manchester and B777-300 to Los Angeles.
   “As our second passenger destination to the UK and our third to the U.S., these new direct services will undoubtedly provide us with further opportunities to increase our presence in these key markets,” Peter Scholten, Saudi’s vice president of cargo, said in a statement.
   In January, Saudia Cargo beefed up its cargo capacity to Casablanca and Jakarta. The carrier will add additional weekly services to Kuala Lumpur in April and a new service to Trivandrum International Airport in India in November.
