Lounsbury joined Ryder's supply chain solutions business sector in 2000 as senior vice president of global customer solutions. Previously, he was president and chief executive officer of Skyway Freight Systems.
Following his retirement, Lounsbury will remain a consultant for the industry and also be a guest lecturer, Ryder said in a statement.
