G-LOG SIGNS ALLIANCE WITH CAP GEMINI ERNST & YOUNG    Global Logistics Technologies Inc., a Connecticut-based start-up selling Internet-based logistics networking technology, has signed an alliance agreement with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young.
   Under the agreement, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young will market and implement G-Log's logistics system. The deal gives G-Log exposure to Ernst & Young's logistics clients and access to the company's implementation services.
   G-Log’s cornerstone GC3 system is designed to give manufacturers, distributors, retailers, third-party logistic providers and online exchanges global in-transit inventory visibility over the Web. Customer-specific carrier contracts, shipping schedules, and trade data drive GC3’s advanced scheduling and optimization engine to develop multileg, multimodal, multicarrier itineraries, G-Log said.
