The service, which was operated with the 1985-built, 725 TEU roll-on, roll-off ship Crowley Americas, will end Thursday, Dec. 1. A spokesman said “this particular rotation was not profitable.” But he noted Crowley continues to serve those same markets with other services.
The service had the following rotation: Port Everglades, Florida; Rio Haina, Dominican Republic; Port-au-Prince, Haiti; Manzanillo, Panama; Puerto Limon Costa Rica; and Santo Tomas de Castilla, Guatemala.
