UPS Worldwide Express adds 23 locations to its network

The UPS Worldwide Express package service has expanded its network to include 88 countries and territories.    The UPS Worldwide Express package service expanded its reach with the addition of 23 countries and territories, expanding its network to a total of 88 countries and territories, UPS said.
   The 23 additional countries and territories where UPS Worldwide Express is now available are located in:
     • In the Americas: Colombia, Guatemala, Honduras, Ecuador, Bermuda, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, the Bahamas, Barbados, St. Kitts and Nevis and St. Lucia;
     • In the Indian Subcontinent, the Middle East and Africa: Saudi Arabia, Oman, Morocco, Tunisia and Sri Lanka;
     • In Europe: the Ukraine, Servia, Jersey, Guernsey and Montenegro;
     • And in Asia Pacific: Vietnam and Macau.
   “Colombia has become a key market for U.S. exporters due to the Free Trade Agreement between the two countries,” UPS Vice President of International Marketing Nick Basford said. “Saudi Arabia is a large economy with a growing middle class. And Vietnam is emerging as a manufacturing powerhouse in the Asia Pacific region.”
   UPS Worldwide Express is particularly beneficial for time-sensitive international shipments and provides guaranteed delivery on the next possible business day by 10:30 a.m., noon or 2:00 p.m., based on the destination.
   The service is part of the UPS Express portfolio, which provides the following guaranteed time of day delivery options: Express Plus for early-morning delivery to 27 countries; Express for midday delivery to 88 countries and territories; and Express Saver for end-of-day delivery to 220 countries and territories.
