Navy ships at Port Everglades prompt advisory    The U.S. Coast Guard has issued an advisory for Port Everglades that Naval Vessel Protection Zones have been established around Navy ships calling at the port through Tuesday morning.
   The ships are anchoring about two miles east of Port Everglades for exercises and shore leave.
   Under the protection zones, vessels that come within 500 yards of a Navy ship must slow to steerageway minimum speed, monitor VHF channel 16, and proceed as directed by Coast Guard patrol craft on the scene. No vessel is permitted within 100 yard of any Navy ship. A violation could be punishable by up to six years in prison, $250,000 in fines and vessel forfeiture. There is also a possible civil fine of up to $27,500, the Coast Guard warned.
