Fox Valley Commerce plans online trucking directory

   Fox Valley Commerce, an Il.-based 3PL and supply chain consulting firm, is gearing up to launch a new American Truck Directory website to give American truckers a digital forum to directly connect with thousands of shippers across the U.S.
   The site will serve as a comprehensive marketing platform for U.S.-based trucking companies, owner operators, and independent drivers. The directory will provide U.S. companies and individuals with a general listing and a customized Web page that includes logo, company description, photos, testimonials, and other information.
   The Spring 2012 issue, which will go live and ship on April 1, will be distributed free to more than 50,000 manufacturers in the U.S., as well as being available to every manufacturer through its website.
   The company is planning to update it every three months.
   “Our mantra at Fox Valley Commerce is ‘Buy American, Ship American’,” writes owner and founder, Christine Buckley. 
   The cut-off date for submitting information for the Spring 2012 edition of the American Truck Directory is March 23.
