The increase is $300 per 20-foot container and $500 per 40-foot container for dry or reefer cargo.
The line also said it will hike rates from Northern Europe to the Indian Subcontinent by $200 per container on March 1, and again on April 1.
Finally, MSC said it will raise rates on shipments from Turkey to the east coast of South America by $200 per TEU from March 15.
