Most recently, Keane was vice president, customer technology and supply chain for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
In his new position, he will be responsible for creating and administering all internal and external technology for the for Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
Keane takes over in Europe from Walt Abercrombie, who has become vice-president, information technology for FedEx Express at the FedEx headquarters in Memphis, Ohio.
