“K” Line, PIL to start Far East/Gulf of Aden/Red Sea loop
Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. and Pacific International Lines will start a weekly container service next month connecting the Far East with ports in the Gulf of Aden and Red Sea.The port rotation for the new service will include Shanghai, Ningbo, Shekou, Hong Kong, Singapore, Colombo, Aden, Jeddah, Aqaba, Sokhna, Aden, Singapore and back to Shanghai.
In a related development, “K” Line has recently appointed new agencies for its liner services in Jordan and Yemen. National Shipping Services, Co. Ltd. will now represent the Japanese shipping line in Jordan, while Sharaf Shipping Agencies Co. will cover Yemen.
