Tan was Exel's general manager of operations in Singapore and before that the company's director for Indonesia. He will report to Robert Yang, Exel's chief operating officer, freight management, Asia Pacific, and managing director for South East Asia.
In Singapore, Tan will be responsible for managing Exel's operations in seven locations, totaling 623,740 square feet of warehousing space for air and ocean freight and contract logistics services.
