Evans appoints two executives

Evans appoints two executives Chris Lawrence has been named national account executive for the southeastern region for the Evans Network of Cos.
   Lawrence, who has 20 years of experience in the intermodal trucking business, will be responsible for business development for Evans in the Southeast where the company said it is expanding its presence and focus.
   Lawrence will be based in the Atlanta area where she is a board member and officer of the Atlanta Maritime Association.
   Schuylkill Haven, Pa.-based Evans also said Bill Hohn has been promoted to senior vice president, sales and business development, responsible for all sales and agent recruiting activities.
   Hohn has been vice president of sales at Evans since February 2003.
   Evans Network of Cos. has a fleet of more than 1,350 tractors and 80 service centers throughout the country, providing transportation services in the intermodal container and trailer drayage, van truckload and flatbed markets.
   With annual revenues of over $150 million, Evans' network encompasses six divisions: West Motor Freight, All Points Transport Corp., Hale Intermodal Trucking, Century Express, Evans Delivery Company and DM Transportation Management Services.
