CMA CGM, Lloyd Triestino enter Montreal/North Europe trade

CMA CGM, Lloyd Triestino enter Montreal/North Europe trade    CMA CGM and Lloyd Triestino will enter the Montreal/North Europe container trade at the end of the April, with a joint weekly service.
   The two European carriers will jointly operate three 1,500-TEU vessels, with a rotation of Antwerp, Hamburg, Montreal and back to Antwerp.
   Hatsu Marine, a sister company of Lloyd Triestino within the Evergreen group, will charter slots on the service.
   CMA CGM could not comment on reports that Zim Israel Navigation would also take space on the transatlantic service.
   CMA CGM is also planning to launch a North Europe/U.S. East Coast service with its own ships in November, when its existing slot-charter agreement with Mediterranean Shipping Co. expires.
