The new service will use Airbus’ A340-300 aircraft three times per week, departing Toronto on Wednesday’s, Friday’s and Sunday’s, arriving in Shanghai 14 hours 45 minutes later. The service will depart Shanghai on Monday’s, Thursday’s and Saturday’s and arrive in Toronto after a 13 hours 40 minutes flight.
The Montreal-based airline also operates a four-times-per-week service between Toronto and Beijing, started in June last year, and daily non-stop flights to both Shanghai and Beijing from Vancouver.
